Lionfish, Oh My

These are a couple of photos of Lionfish that I took on my last dive trip to the Turks and Caicos. These fish are native to the Pacific and are causing havoc in the Caribbean. It’s believed that they got introduced into these waters in 1992 after Hurricane Andrew destroyed a private aquarium and released six of them into Miami’s Biscayne Bay. Happy summer everyone! Today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year and the start of my favorite season! Summer is a time for kicking back, being lazy and enjoying the oudoors. I’m getting ready to go on vacation next week. I’m heading down to the Caribbean to go scuba diving. I’m hoping to get a whole bunch of new photos and ideas for my underwater artwork as well as inspiration for my t-shirt designs.

In honor of the solstice here are a few of my summer designs from my shop for you to look at. There are plenty more where they came from so please come stop by and browse through all my sections. You don’t have to be a scuba diver to love these shirts & gifts. See more designs at WearMyDiveArt.com and Wear My Dive Art!
