Talk Like A Pirate, Arrgh!

September 19 is “Talk Like a Pirate Day.” What is this fascination that we all have with Pirates? Is it the secret desire we all have to throw caution to the wind, leave our safe, steady lives, our 9-5 desk jobs and the monotony of doing the right thing to run off to the high seas and throw caution to the wind? Or maybe we just want to trade in our business suits, if only for one day, for the garb of a swashbuckling pirate or a saucy wench. Of course you just might want to grab one of our pirate t-shirts…

Social Networking

I know it’s been awhile since my last post. I’ve really got to make a point of sitting down to write some every day! I’ve been busy expanding my social networking universe. There are so many like-minded people to meet out there! Scuba Divers and tropic lovers will love these two new sites that I have joined: Tropics Nation is a social network for everyone who loves the tropics! Parrot Heads (Jimmy Buffett fans for those who don’t know) abound at this site. You should come and check it out, and while your there, tell them I sent you and add me (DiveArtist) as a friend!

Another site for scuba divers is DiveBuddy.com. You can view my profile here:DiveArtist at DiveBuddy.com. Join the fun , add me as a friend and tell them I sent you!

These are both great ways to meet new friends and dive buddies.

Beneath the Sea

Happy April! Spring is definitely in the air and today it looks like it is going to show its’ face finally. I’m almost ready to put my skis away and start thinking about going under (water, that is). Beneath the Sea was very productive for me. I met a lot of people, made some good contacts and added a hooded vest to my dive gear!

Here are a couple of shirts that might get you in the mood to go diving. You can find them at the Dive Humor section of my shop Wear My Dive Art!
